Our Ministry
Bulletin Dedications: The Worship and Sacraments Committee invites members of our faith community to help with the cost of printing weekly bulletins. It costs us approximately $15.00 to have color-printed bulletin covers. You may dedicate a bulletin of any Sunday in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a significant event, or in celebration of a life's milestone. The name of Memoriam/Celebration/Milestone and Donor will appear in the bulletin on the specified Sunday. Please forward any donations to the church office and contact Felyn, the office administrator, during office hours via email (gsuc@nl.rogers.com) or phone 709-753-7286 ext. 200.
GIVING TO GOWER – HOW TO DONATE TO GOWER?
Ways to maintain your financial support of our church, there are a few options available:
- Sign up for PAR (Pre Authorized Contributions), or if you are already on PAR, then maybe consider increasing your contribution. This can be done by calling the office (709-753-7286) or by email (office@gowerunited.com)
- You can also click the donate button above
- We also accept e-transfer. Just send it to gsuc@nl.rogers.com
- You may also send a cheque via mail or drop it in the dropbox accessible to the right of the office entrance. Our mailing address is 99 Queens Road, St. John's, NL, A1C 6M6

Youth Group Meetings:
Gower Youth meets bi-weekly on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Our meetings include supper. The group is open to young people in grades nine and above.

Gower Learners and Gower Young Peoples Choir:
Both Gower Learners and Young People's Choir take place during worship, following a time for all ages in worship.
Gower Handbell Choir:
Rehearsal take place on Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Our Community
Come “Awaken the Energy Within”. with T'ai Chi Chih and Wisdom Healing Qigong. These gentle Mindfulness practices offer more energy, wellness, peace, and joy. Tuesdays (TCC) and Thursdays (WHQ). A set of 8-week daytime and evening sessions from April 21st – June 11th at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road, St. John’s. All welcome! Easy to learn, easy to do, whether seated or standing. Topsail United Church will be holding a Bless My Ride Car Meet, On Monday June 15, 2026, for anyone with an Antique, Sports or unique Vehicle, from 6 until 8 P.M. Enjoy a free Ice Cream and an Official Blessing of your a Vehicle at 7 P.M. If Postponed by Weather, the event will move to Tuesday, June 16, 2026. All Are Welcome.

We are accepting donations of good used household items and small appliances in working order. (No books, electronics or clothing, please.)
If you have items you would like to donate, these can be dropped off at the church office on any Friday in May between the hours of 10 am to 12 noon, or on Friday, June 5th between the hours of 10am to 2pm.

St. David's "Music in the Hall" Concert Series is entering our 4th season with: "Trad Night" on Saturday, June 6th...
