Gower On the Move: On Thursdays in June at 6:00 p.m., join Rev. Rebecca for a weekly community walk around Kenny’s Pond. We will meet by the Sir Admiral John's Adventure Mini Golf at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Bridges to Hope: The Annual General Meeting of Bridges to Hope will be held on June 12th, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at First United Church, 221 Park Avenue, Mt. Pearl.  Everyone is welcome to attend, to learn more about this important organization and outreach mission.  The meeting will be held in Trinity Hall, in the basement, accessed via the side door on Churchill Avenue.

Bulletin Dedications: The Worship and Sacraments Committee invites members of our faith community to help with the cost of printing weekly bulletins. It costs us approximately $15.00 to have color-printed bulletin covers. You may dedicate a bulletin of any Sunday in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a significant event, or in celebration of a life's milestone. The name of Memoriam/Celebration/Milestone and Donor will appear in the bulletin on the specified Sunday. Please forward any donations to the church office and contact SuAn, the office administrator, during office hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. via email (gsuc@nl.rogers.com) or phone 709-753-7286 ext. 200.

Invitation: On behalf of the St. John's and Area Council of Churches and the Religious Social Action Coalition, we are pleased to invite you to an Informal Conversation with The Rev'd Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay, General Secretary of the World Council of Churches, and Pastor Peter Noteboom, General Secretary of The Canadian Council of Churches. They are visiting St. John’s to attend the 100th anniversary service of the United Church of Canada. We hope you can join us at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (22 Church Hill) at 7 p.m. Monday, June 9th. Please enter through the wooden porch on Gower Street.  Come for an evening of learning and sharing on global, Canadian and St. John’s Area faith communities at work
