We are delighted that you are considering Gower Street United Church to celebrate your wedding. We will work closely with you to ensure your wedding ceremony reflects your values and is a joyous and memorable occasion for you, your families and friends.

Gower Street United Church affirms all persons as unique, loved creations of God and welcomes all to the full life of Christian community, including marriage. We believe that marriage is a covenant between God and two people who love each other. As an Affirming community of faith, we celebrate the marriages of couples of all sexual orientations and gender identities, divorced couples, couples of mixed faiths, or couples who may not attend church.

Although we do not require couples to be members of Gower Street United Church, we warmly welcome you to take part in our congregational life.

The majestic sanctuary of Gower Street United Church, with its beautiful stained-glass windows and magnificent Casavant pipe organ has been celebrating Christian weddings for more than a century. It is our hope that you find this beautiful heritage sanctuary a warm and welcoming location in which to celebrate the beginning of your married lives together.
