Outreach and community

At Gower, we aim to serve everyone in our community, not just those who are members of our church. As a downtown congregation, we are particularly aware of the needs of the vulnerable members of our community, and the need to be a contributing, collaborative partner, with all the organizations that aim to help and improve our community.

We have led ongoing outreach efforts, including regular meals and fellowship for those in need, as well as seasonal drives for organizations including Bridges to Hope food bank. We have also hosted other organizations, such as Street Reach, in their own work.

Currently, we are developing a new and refreshed action plan to focus and revitalize the work we do.
